The previous Sunday had great weather but a pretty poor turnout. Expecting the same (or even less seeing that we were the only band on the bill), we showed up to a full house. Michal, Oliver and I were arriving from the Seattle Rhythm Fest with our friends Daniel and Nate. Nate is a percussionist and sat in with us for the first several tunes before being whisked away by sleepy-time twins. I sure wish we had more percussion more often…

Rest of the night was the usual. Tom, Johnny, Pat and myself eventually joined by Brad Carter (in his first appearance since breaking his thumb 4 weeks back) and fiddlers Tim Wetmueller and Milly ‘Racoon’.
